As part of the launch of Nivea’s new ‘Beauty is…’ campaign, the beauty products company wanted to demonstrate that beauty can be found in kind, thoughtful moments. What better way to do this than offer kiwi women a free coffee during international kindness week?
As the largest mobile espresso company in New Zealand that has the resources to implement the campaign, The Coffee Guy was enlisted to deliver the coffee. With three mobile coffee vans completely wrapped in Nivea branding, The Coffee Guy took to the streets of Auckland, Wellington and Hamilton to inject a little bit of kindness into the days of kiwi women.
The Coffee Guy’s experienced baristas were accompanied by Nivea’s brand ambassadors, who were charged with communicating the message, giving out free beauty products with the coffee and creating a discussion with women about what beauty is to them.
The campaign was very well received by the target audience, who were flattered by the random act of kindness that arrived on their doorstep. While enjoying a break from work and a coffee with their female colleagues, the women chatted about Nivea products that they liked, the new campaign that they had noticed in the media as well as the importance of the message – that Beauty Is something different for everyone (and it’s not just skin deep!).
